Welcome to Nettleworth Infant and Nursery School

On behalf of the staff, governors, children and parents may I extend a very warm welcome to our website.

Nettleworth Infant School and Nursery is such a special place to be and I feel privileged to be the Head Teacher.

Our school motto ‘We nurture, flourish and achieve!’ reflects everything we value and strive for.

We are incredibly proud of our unique children, our hardworking, enthusiastic staff and our supportive parents and governors. We seek to build upon the unique experiences each child brings from home. By working together as a team we are able to provide a high quality education for every child so that our school is a safe, nurturing and happy place to learn.

We have high expectations of everyone in our school community and believe that everyone has the ability to excel and achieve great things. We value perseverance, resilience and curiosity and the aspiration to achieve and be the best that we can. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality education for all children through our inspiring curriculum, which promotes high academic standards whilst valuing creativity and imagination.

We strive to ensure that learning for our children is meaningful, motivating and memorable and prepares them for the future and for life in an ever changing world. Our outdoor environment is particularly impressive and conducive to play-based and active learning.
