Dear Parents, Carers and children Early this morning I have been in a telephone discussion with our Site Manager at Nettleworth and Leas Park and with Mrs Hall the Head Teacher regarding the weather and safety of the school site. Due to the ice and snowfall in our area, and the concerns around the unpredictability of the weather we have made the difficult decision to close Nettleworth infant Nursery School and Leas Park Junior School for today, Friday 9th January. This is to ensure the safety of all our pupils, staff, and families.  We will continue to update you over the weekend via Class Dojo and our school website: Learning from home Your child can complete existing set homework or engage in reading a favourite book.  Please Remember: Stay Safe: Keep warm, check on vulnerable neighbours, and avoid unnecessary travel. Appropriate Clothing: If you do venture out or for outdoor play if safe, ensure children have wellies, warm coats, and gloves.  Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
