Catch Up Funding
All children have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus.
The impact of lost time in education is substantial for children, particular those who are most vulnerable or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Schools have been provided with Government funding to support the catch-up of all children and accelerate their progress.
Alongside this funding, we have also been keen to allocate funds from our own school budget in order to further maximise pupil progress and potential through a wealth of rich holistic learning opportunities.
We understand that many of our children will now need to make excellent progress to ensure they are working at or above age-related expectations (ARE) and are fully prepared for the next stage of their learning.
Excellent progress at Nettleworth Infant School and Nursery involves:
