Ukranian Support

Dear Parents/ Carers, 

 

You will know that there are several organisations who are collecting items to help Ukrainian refugees - Leas Park and Nettleworth schools want to support this as much as we can....and we're asking for your help. From Monday (tomorrow - 7th March) there will be a box in the reception area of both schools which we hope to fill with the following items: 

• batteries 
• torches 
• candles 
• personal hygiene products 
• first aid 
• canned food 
• baby formula 
• baby food 
• nappies 

 

All items must be new / sealed.  

 

If you have ANY of the above items you could spare, I know they will provide a lifeline to someone who never thought they would need this kind of support.

 

Please make sure we have any items by Thursday afternoon - we will be taking everything to either Newark or Southwell fire station at the end of the week.  

 

Nettleworth kitchen staff have very kindly offered to do some baking in support of the appeal - watch this space, further details to follow!
