Welcome to Elephant Class!
In the Elephant class we learn and grow together.
We enjoy exploring the world around us and have lots of fun.
We always follow our rainbow rules and aim to reach the gold star.
In our herd each one of us is different!
We need to bring our PE kit to school on Monday and we will bring it home on a Friday for washing.
This means we can enjoy PE and games outdoors when the weather is dry as currently, PE will take place outdoors.
We are also aiming to run our Daily Mile too and so will need a change of shoes in our PE bag.
On a Thursday we are going to be having a Fun Fit day. This will begin on the 8th of October. Please send your child in their PE kit to school on this day. They will need to be in sensible footwear and clothing that is appropriate for the weather. On our Fun Fit day we are going to be doing lots of physical activities and games!
Our topic this term is Celebrating Difference. We will be looking at our families, communities and environment.
We are learning to write our names and recognising letters. We will be sharing lots of wonderful animal stories linked to our class animal.
We are learning about place value focusing on numbers 1-5. We are also going to be looking at sorting numbers, shapes and objects into groups.
Thank you for your continued support.
Mrs Elms and Mrs Stokes!
