Who to contact

Staff at Nettleworth will be available to email or talk Monday to Friday during the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm. Please bear in mind that during a National Lockdown not all staff will be in school every day and may be working from home but the class teacher or TA will get back to the parent/carer as soon as they can.

The staff may also not respond immediately due to classroom teaching commitments and meetings but will again respond at an appropriate time. Staff will not respond out of the above hours, but will ensure they respond the next day at the first convenient time. Our school do not expect children to send work/evidence me at the weekends.

Loaning of IT equipment

We recognise that some pupils may not have access to suitable online devices at home. We take the following approaches to support those pupils to access remote education:

At Nettleworth we will endeavor to help parents/carers in any way we can. During weekly phone calls home by the teaching staff we give the parents/carers the opportunity to discuss any concerns, problems or challenges in remote learning they face. If a parent/carer does not have internet access or they prefer, they are able to receive a paper copy of the remote learning packs, these will be available from the school office on request. We have previously provided home-learning packs containing basic key equipment and resources for the children to use whilst they are learning at home. We ask the parents/carers to let us know if you need these topping up at any time and we will do our best to support them with this, so that learning is not affected.

It is our aim to ensure that all children who attend our school have some type of device to work on during a national lockdown.

Parents/carers are encouraged to communicate with the teachers via the child’s year group email, phone calls and messages on Evidence Me. You can contact us via the following:
